The do not post their inventory to corporate correctly so when game stop has a sale on an item online which is pick up only at store this store keeps the prices marked up and over charges you for the items if you happen to walk in an buy it. The female clerk has done this many times to customers n lies about the sku numbers or simply hasn't a clue what's she's doing!!! Been told from former employees to stay awayalso "this store is ripping customers off"
Called the day prior to the release of the NES Classic. They stated that it was 1st come first serve and a line would form outside the store before opening. I was second in line. When they opened an employee came out and said that all the NES Classics were sold and that they didn't have any. One of two things happened. This employee lied and they were in stock and then he either 1. sold them to his friends or 2. bought them himself and sold them for a profit online. I doubt the latter since it seems an egregious violation of what I hope is a company policy and would like to give him the benefit of the doubt. Regardless, it was handled in a poor unapologetic fashion and I will not buy from Gamestop anymore as a result.
It's an OK place. Always a great selection of games, can usually get used games pretty cheap. They need to offer their customers a bit more for their trade in though. Trading in 22 games and getting $7.50 trade in value is a bit ridiculous.
